Direct collaboration, no project manager layer

salat.tech is a one-person business, on purpose. When you work with me, you talk to the same person from first inquiry to delivery, and that person also writes the code. Requirements don't get lost passing through several hands, and questions get settled in a quick exchange instead of a ticket queue. The trade-off: I can't take on projects without limit. I accept that, so each one gets the attention it needs.

Background

I started out at Pool4Tool, working on an e-procurement platform for the automotive industry, then moved to Mymarket.io in e-commerce. In 2017 I taught software development at BBRZ Wien, from HTML basics to agile project work. Since 2019 I've been a vetted developer in the Toptal network, working mostly with international clients: mobile apps, shop systems, and real-time applications with more than 1,000 concurrent socket connections. In 2023 I earned the AWS SysOps Administrator (Associate) certification.

Technologies

My focus is on modern web and mobile technologies: React, Vue.js, Nuxt, and Next.js on the frontend, Node.js and TypeScript on the backend, and AWS for cloud infrastructure. Mobile projects I build natively or cross-platform, whichever fits the case. Over the years I've delivered work for very different clients across the German-speaking region, from lean websites for business associations to data-driven platforms with live data and interactive maps.
